3 3 What was the character of DAVID like? David said to Goliath... “I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel.” (1 Samuel chapter 17 verse 45). “In everything he did, he had great success, because the Lord was with him.” (1 Samuel chapter 18 verse 14) “The Lord has sought out a man after his own heart.” (1 Samuel chapter 13 verse 14) “After removing Saul, God made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart, he will do everything I want him to do’.” (Acts chapter 13 verse 22) Next slide. – The thought moment...

7 7 Then, David did the right thing... He walked to the other side of the table. He went to talk to God. In Psalm 51. “Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.” (Proverbs 28 v 13)

8 8 In summary, what are we saying? Don’t see this life as a fight against God. See this life as a fight with God. Remember, He is on your side.
