2 Why Are We Here? Choose 1 scribe per table group Write a separate idea on each piece of paper. Value all ideas (Do not Discuss) Get as many ideas as you can related to the question: Why should children come to school between the 1 st and 5 th basico?

If you use it as an objective in its own right, you MUST say how it will be assessed by application in problem solving WRITING LEARNING OBJECTIVES

10 Sorting out the learning from the activity / context To make notes from a talk about the history of saint johns school To draw a portrait of an ex rector from st johns To find out about how uniform at st johns has changed over the years. To look at photos of the school buildings at different times To know about the main events in the history of the school

13 What are we looking for from pupil’s work? Success criteria should be specific to the objective. They can be developed with the pupils, but teachers should have a clear idea of what they are beforehand.

22 What Next? Choose the key objectives for the next unit of work Break it into clear, attainable learning objectives Consider the success criteria for each objective Share the learning journey with the pupils Make it: relevant, interesting and attainable for all pupils
