4. The Gift of Wisdom Psalm 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have a good understanding.

5. John 13:34-35 34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

6. The Gift Of Knowledge John 14:26 ESV But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

7. The Gift of Faith Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen

8. Hebrews 12:2 Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

9. The Gift of Prophecy Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

10. Hebrew word for prophet is “nabi”, derived from a verb signifying "to bubble forth" like a fountain; hence the word means one who announces or pours forth the declarations of God.

11. "Prophecy comprehends three things: prediction; singing by the dictate of the Spirit; and understanding and explaining the mysterious, a hidden sense of Scripture by an immediate illumination and motion of the Spirit."

20. James 5:14-15 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

21. The Gift of Discernment “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1)

22. The Gift of Speaking in Tongues Mark 16:17 ESV And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

23. 1 Corinthians 14:1 “Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.”

24. Mark 16:15-20 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned

25. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

26. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.”

27. 1 Corinthians 14:40 (ESV) But all things should be done decently and in order. 1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.

28. Nevertheless, in church I would rather speak five words with my mind in order to instruct others, than ten thousand words in a tongue. (1 Corinthians 14:19)

29. 1 Corinthians 14:28 But if there is no one to interpret, let each of them keep silent in church and speak to himself and to God.
