Homeroom Starts at 7:30
Seven Blocks (A – G) /Four Day Cycle
Snack Break in Classroom
Three Lunches – Mixed Grade Level
Major Classes Meet Everyday
Foreign Language, Literacy Lab (half year), STEM (half year), and Music Selection Meet Every Other Day
Physical Education Meets Once Per Cycle
School Day Ends at 2:00
Late Buses Start at 3:05

10. What Happens On The First Day Of School?
Come with a pen or pencil, notebook, snack, lunch or money, and a smile
All Grade Six students will report directly to their homeroom (their A Block class)
Full school day with an “adjusted schedule”

11. What Else is New? HMS 1:1 Chromebook Initiative
Teachers have received device and are involved in professional development.
Late August 2015 all grade six students will be issued an individual device.
Students will bring devices home and to school each day.
