6 What is a conclusion? A conclusion is a decision you come to about a topic after studying information about that topic. To make a conclusion about Mr Smith’s golf you would have to look at his handicap, scorecards and see if he has won any competitions. Then you could decide if he was good or bad at golf and give reasons why you decided this. This would be your conclusion.

Greece’s defence spending went up from 500 to Greece’s armed forces went from 201 to 209. My conclusion is that as defence spending rises so does the number in the armed forces.
