WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ONE OF THE GODHEAD
1 JOHN 5:6-8
6 This is He who came by water and blood-- Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is The Spirit who bears witness, because The Spirit is truth.
7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: The Father, The Word, and The Holy Spirit; and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness on earth: The Spirit, The water, and The blood; and these three agree as one.

4. WHAT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT CALLED?
ISAIAH 11:2
2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel and Might, the Spirit of Knowledge and of the Fear of The LORD.
ZECHARIAH 12:10
10 I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, The Spirit of Grace and of supplications. They shall look upon Me whom they have pierced. They shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for His only Son and shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for His Firstborn.

MATTHEW 10:20
20 It is not you that speak, but The Spirit of your Father which speaks in you.
LUKE 4:18
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.

MATTHEW 4:1
1 Jesus was led of The Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
LUKE 4:1
1 Jesus being full of The Holy Ghost returned from Jordan and was led by The Spirit into the wilderness.
LUKE 2:27
27 Simeon came by The Spirit into the temple when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for Him after the custom of the law.

20 It is not you that speak, but The Spirit of your Father which speaks in you.

ACTS 5:3-4
3 Peter said to Ananias, Why has Satan filled your heart to lie to The Holy Ghost and to keep back part of the price of the land?
4 While it remained, was it not your own? After it was sold, was it not in your own power? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.
ACTS 5:9
9 Peter said to Saphira, How is it that you have agreed together to tempt The Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of them which have buried your husband are at the door and shall carry you out.

22. WHAT CAN WE DO TO THE HOLY SPIRIT?
ACTS 7:51
51 You stiff necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, You do always resist The Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do you.
ACTS 9:31
31 The churches had rest throughout Judaea, Galilee and Samaria, and were edified. Walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, and were multiplied.

16 The Spirit bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by The Holy Ghost.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:10-14
10 God has revealed them to us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
11 What man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God no man knows, but The Spirit of God.

1 CORINTHIANS 2:10-14
12 We have received, not the spirit of the world, but The Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, But that which The Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receives not the things of The Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man. But holy men of God spoke as they were moved by The Holy Ghost.

7 He that has an ear let him Hear what The Spirit said to the Churches: to him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
REVELATION 2:11
11 He that has an ear let him Hear what the Spirit said to the Churches: He that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death.

33. WHAT DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT DO?
REVELATION 14:13
13 I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in The Lord from henceforth. Yes, said The Spirit that they may rest from their labors and their works do follow them.
