4 COURSE AIMS to develop business communication skills (writing, speaking and listening) to acquire specialist vocabulary (on selected business topics) to encourage critical thinking (analysis, synthesis, foreseeing, deducing, selecting…) to understand the difference between written/spoken language and formal/informal language to learn how to use dictionaries and other reference material

10 3. THE ORAL EXAM At the oral exam you are expected to:
present business topics covered during the course and discuss them with your peers and the teacher express a viewpoint on a topical issue (advantages, disadvantages, agreeing, disagreeing…) and to ask relevant questions.
