Definition: the way a writer or speaker uses words and tone to express ideas as well as his or her persona or personality. Example: The author uses an informal voice to make his character more likeable.

How do these ideas relate to Williams’ cultural identity in “Ethnic Hash?” Write one developed paragraph and use textual evidence to support your answer.
