3 BIBLE READING Colossians 3: God loves you and has chosen you for his own special people. So be gentle, kind, humble, meek and patient. Put up with each other and forgive anyone who does wrong to you. Just as Christ has forgiven you. Love is more important than anything else. It is what ties everything together completely.

4 Each one of you is part of the body of Christ, and you were
chosen to live together in peace.

8 How good are you at directions?
Do you find your way to new places quickly with no problems? To be honest, I have lots of problems finding my way to places. I need TOOLS to help me.

9 I always have a good and trusty book of maps in my car – only now it has to be in LARGE print so I can see where I am going.

10 And now I have recently bought myself a NEW TOOL!!
Which I hope will help me a lot more, when I know how to use it properly.

11 For past centuries, of course, compasses were very important.
They told you which way was North, and this helped people to find out where they were going.

12 For centuries, the compass has been a most important tool for finding which way people should go.
It always points north, and helps people to know where they are.

13 The cross is like a compass for Christians
The cross is like a compass for Christians. Instead of pointing North, it points us to Heaven, to help us live in God’s way.

14 When we go on a journey, we don’t start off with no idea of where we are going and hope to find the right way. No, we plan for it, look at the maps, make sure we have everything we need, and then, when we are ready, to start our journey.

15 Life is the biggest journey we will ever take
Life is the biggest journey we will ever take. How have we planned for it? What do we need to know and make ready? Right to the last day of our lives, we are still on a journey.

16 The Holy Bible Where we find God’s directions for our lives.

17 Are we using it to help ourselves?

18 Let’s continue to look at what people are discovering.
Now there are new technologies which reach up to the skies and send back information instantly.

19 Satellites in space beam down information to the Earth, & tell GPS where things are.

20 GPS: Global Positioning System
Amazing that something so far away can send us so much information.

21 A GPS system can tell you where you are, how to get to where you want to be – and what places of interest are closest – and lots more.

22 Often we can think that God is a long way off, and cannot understand how we feel. This amazing technology shows us that just because we seem to be a long way away doesn’t mean that information cannot be known and understood.

23 And if technology can do this, think how much more God can know and do!

25 God is better than a compass;
God is better than GPS; GOD CAN HELP US ON OUR LIFE’S JOURNEY, STOP US FROM MAKING MISTAKES, AND LEAD US THROUGH THE PROBLEMS OF LIFE WITHOUT BEING DAMAGED. With God, we have life: Without God, life is dangerous.

26 What we need is not a Global Positioning System, but a
GOD’S PERFECT SYSTEMS

27 Something to help us keep close to God
Everyday The Bible: God’s PERFECT System

28 God’s Perfect System: found in the Bible.
The Holy Bible The Book that shows us how to live and journey with God every day of our lives.

29 Trust in the LORD with all
The Bible says: Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Do not rely on your own understanding; Bring God into every part of your life And God will show you the right way for a good life.

30 Behave without selfishness or jealousy. Be happy with what you have
Behave without selfishness or jealousy. Be happy with what you have. Because Jesus said, ‘I will never leave you or ignore you.’

When we follow God’s way, we do not need to be afraid. God will always get us through problems the best possible way.
