5 Three Baptisms In Scripture
Baptism into the body. 1 Corinthians 12:13, Galatians 3:27 Baptism in water. Romans 6:1-7 Baptism in the Holy Ghost. Luke 11:9-13, Acts 1:4 & 2:4, Acts 2:38-39

6 Baptism into the body. 1 Corinthians 12:13 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Galatians 3:27 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

7 Baptism into water. Romans 6:1-7 1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

8 Baptism in the Holy Ghost.
Acts 1:3-4 9 And I say unto you, Ask, and 3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: 4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. 5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

9 Baptism in the Holy Ghost.
Luke 11: And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offerc him a scorpion? 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

10 Baptism in the Holy Ghost
Three Baptisms in Scripture: Baptism in the Holy Ghost Acts 2:4 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

11 Who is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is our comforter.
The Holy Spirit is our prayer partner. The Holy Spirit is our teacher. The Holy Spirit warns and protects us from danger. The Holy Spirit gives us instructions. The Holy Spirit leads and guides us.

12 What happens when I receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit?
We receive supernatural power. He opens the door to the supernatural. He transforms our prayer lives. He makes us bold and effective soul winners. He enables us to receive God’s guidance. He energizes our physical bodies with resurrection life. He equips us with agape love.

13 The Purpose of Tongues:
It is a supernatural means of direct communication with God. We speak mysteries unto God in tongues. We edify ourselves when we speak in tongues. We can interpret what we are speaking.

14 The Purpose of Tongues:
He energizes our human spirit and releases “living water” on the inside of us! He disconnects us from the interruptions of the mind. He brings our will into line with the perfect will of God.
