CA V1.0 Solution: NCP offers Server Less Solution which will encourage Telecom Dealers without Server Knowledge to promote CA. CA V1.5 Solution: CA V1.5 succeeds the features of CA V1.0 and allows you to try Operator Console as beta version. It is possible to use CA on the environment of Thin Client and you can make an integration with the LDAP. Your customer can select the type of solutions. - Server Less Solution - Server Solution CA V1.5 allows you to manage CA users by the unified database like PA. The CA server is required to introduce the CA solution with the environment of Thin Client.

CA System Requirements - PBX To use CA, the software of your PBX should be matched with the requirements listed below. : Enhance Key is needed KX-TDE100 KX-TDE200 KX-TDE600 KX-NCP500 KX-NCP1000 CA V1.0 - V1.0 CA V1.5 Server-less V3.0 with KX-NCS3910 V2.0 CA V1.5 with CA Server V2.0100 with KX-NCS4910 V2.000 with KX-NCS4950 CA V1.5 uses the function of Button Press on the interface of CSTA, therefore the enhance key is required. But KX-NCP V2.0 (KX-TDE V3.0) supports the function of Button Press without the enhance key. KX-TDE600 users are strongly recommended to use CA Server with CA Client.

44 Enabling CA on the NCP To enable CA on extensions select from the PCMC and go to “Option 9” Three Options - Disable (Extension can not use the CA feature) - Basic Only (CA Basic only) - Enable (CA Pro, CA Supervisor and CA Operator Console) Select “Enable” or “Basic Only” depending on which features the extension requires.

Tick if ICD group agent feature is to be enabled NB: If a user wish to change the blue setting items after installation, please un-install the CA from the PC and re-installation the CA again.

48 Starting CA Client - 3 Enter the IP address of the PBX or the CA Server. Enter the CA extension number. The password is left blank on first boot Tick “Automatically Login” to bypass this screen in the future. After setting has completed click “Login” to login to the CA.
