1 Assalamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
Brothers & Sisters in Islam, Take a few minutes & slowly go through this until the end DO GIVE A DEEP THOUGHT ON OUR STATUS. [Kindly note in the following presentation Qur’anic verses are highlighted in green color fonts & Hadiths in blue]

2 Am I A true Believer or A Unbeliever?
|

3 Questioning Oneself Am I A true Believer or A Unbeliever? A serious question we need to ask ourselves As A True Believer – How OBEDIENT am I in submitting myself To The One & Only God- Allah? How OBEDIENT am I in enjoining what is right (just) and forbidding what is evil? How OBEDIENT am I in performing Obligatory Salah (prayers)? How OBEDIENT am I in performing the obligatory deeds in Islam ? To Complete the Question - As a True Believer How OBEDIENT am i to Allah and to His Messenger (pbuh) in all walks of my life? |

4 Make The Right Judgment Between Two People
Dear Brothers & Sisters in Islam, Imagine you have to judge between two persons for the sins they have committed. Both of them assigns partners in worship, Commits sins of: Murder, Adultery, Usury, Gambling, Drinking Alcohol, Gossip, Stealing, Cheating, Slander, Treachery & other actions forbidden by Islam. Out of the two people, One of them, has been brought up in a Non-Islamic way of life, not aware of the rights & wrongs (especially not aware of the straight path). The Other-A Muslim being well aware of the right/wrong- The Straight Path (Islamic Way of life) Who do you think does more wrong? The person who has been brought in Non-Islamic way (Not knowing clearly -right & wrong) & yet has committed these crimes/sins? or The Muslim who is clearly aware of the right & wrong & yet has committed these crimes/sins? Obviously one would judge that the Muslim has done more wrong & should be punished severely. We will again come to this topic of “Who Does More Wrong?” |

5 Praise Be To ALLAH Praise be to Allah, Lord and Cherisher of the World’s, The Most Merciful & the Beneficent sent more than 100,000 Prophets/Messengers for the benefit of mankind, To lead them from darkness to light/Straight & Right Path. “How many a prophet did We send among the men of old!”  [Quran: ] “We send the messengers only to give good news and to warn: so those who believe and mend (their lives)- upon them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve” [Quran: 6.048]  “For We assuredly sent amongst every People a messenger, (with the Command), "Serve Allah, and eschew Evil“ [Quran: ]  “And Peace on the messengers!  And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds” [Quran:37.181 , 182] |

6 Praise Be To ALLAH WHO Perfected us The Religion
“He (Allah) has ordained for you the same religion (Islam) which He ordained for Noah, and that which We have inspired to you (O Muhammad (r)), and that which We ordained for Abraham, Moses and Jesus, saying you should establish the religion (i.e. to do what it orders you to do practically) and make no divisions in it”. [Quran: 42:13] “This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favour unto you, and have chosen for you as religion al-Islam. Whoso is forced by hunger, not by will, to sin: (for him) lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful”. [Quran: 5:3] |

7 A MERCY, AN UNIVERSAL (Messenger) & A GOOD EXAMPLE
“And We have not sent you (Muhammad) but as a Mercy for all creatures”[Quran: ]    “And We have not sent you (O Muhammad) but as a universal (Messenger) to mankind, giving them glad tidings and a warner (against sin) unto all humanity; but most of mankind know not” [Quran: ]     “Verily in the messenger of Allah ye have a good example for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and remembereth Allah much”[Quran: ].  |

8 The Prophets And The People Of Their Time
Peace & Blessings Be Upon All The Prophets/Messengers of Allah, Prophets (PBUT) with the help of Allah strived hard in delivering the message of the straight path (i.e) To worship ALLAH & to assign no partners in worship, Give Zakat and to do other righteous deeds. All the Prophets & Messengers came with the same message: “To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practice regular charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight”. [Quran: ] "So fear Allah, and obey me” [Quran: ] "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds[Quran: ]  The Prophets conveyed messages to all people, People who were rich, poor, ignorant, nomads, the literates & the illiterates etc.. Isn’t it surprising that the companions of the time of Prophets Mohammed(pbuh) who were illiterate and living in the desert of Arabia and not having the vast knowledge we have gained today were much more accepting of the Prophet’s (pbuh) message than us today who have achieved so much in the realms of science & technology? |

9 The Present Times & State Of Muslims
Not to talk about the unbelievers, But about Born Muslims. Today we have most of them educated & even highly educated too. We Muslims today have the same Quran as promised to be safeguarded by The Almighty. We Muslims today know well all the struggles made by All the prophets (Pbut), esp Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) & his companions (peace be upon them all) in spreading the words of Allah. We Muslims today know well through the advancement of science & astronomy confirming the verses of Noble Quran on the greatness of Allah’s creation of the heavens & earth. We Muslims today know well & seen many of the signs of Allah & Signs of Day of judgment as foretold by our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) happening.. And yet today when we Muslims are invited to make advancement towards Allah & Islam, most of us ignore it. And rather we show the same attitude of those unbelievers of old times. We avoid the true believers who invite us to Pray (salah) the True islam & we ignore them with an attitude of conceit showing them we know our religion better. And who does more wrong? |

10 ALLAH Questions us – Who Does More Wrong ?
“And who doth more wrong than one who is reminded of the Signs of his Lord, but turns away from them, forgetting the (deeds) which his hands have sent forth? Verily We have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this, and over their ears, deafness, if thou callest them to guidance, even then will they never accept guidance” [Quran: ]    |

11 They Say” We believe”? But Do Not Obey Allah, Remember satan (cursed one)
Those say that," we believe in Allah but do not obey the commandments of Allah & are under the impression that they will be saved from hell fire of Allah & enter paradise easily should remember what Allah says about the cursed one: The cursed one/chief deceiver (satan) also knows & believes that there is no God but Allah, but he was of those proud [arrogant] and of those of the disbelievers (disobedient to the commandments of Allah) Kufr-al-Ibâ' wat-Takabbur ma'at-Tasdîq: This implies rejection and pride to submit to Allah's Commandments after conviction of their truth. Almighty Allah says: "And (remember) when We said to the angels: 'Prostrate yourself before Adam.' And they prostrated except Iblis, he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allah)." [Quran:2:34]. Al-Kufr- Dr. M. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali, Ph.D.,Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan, Islamic University, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwara   |

12 Chief deceiver (satan) Disobeyed And he is doomed To Hell
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that when, the son of Adam recites the Ayat of Sajdah (prostration) and then falls down in prostration, satan goes into seclusion and weeps and he (satan) says: “Woe unto me, the son of Adam was commanded to prostrate, and he prostrated and Paradise was entitled to him and I was commanded to prostrate, but I disobeyed and I am doomed to Hell”. [Sahih Muslim - Book 001, Number 0144 ] |

13 Do Men Think They will Not Be Tested?
“Allah Says: Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, “We believe", and that they will not be tested?” [Quran: ]  “Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently preserve”. [Quran: ]    "That We might try them by that (means). But if any turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, He will make him enter into an afflicting chastisement” [Quran: ]  |

14 Allah Loves Not – The Proud/Arrogant & Disbelievers
Those of us who are arrogant to obey Allah & His messenger should know that: “Verily He (Allah) loveth not the arrogant” [Quran: ] “Say: Obey Allah and the Messenger; but if they turn back, then surely Allah does not love the unbelievers”[Quran: ] |

15 Humiliating punishment For Those Who Disobey Allah And His Messenger
“Allah is not pleased with those who disobey” [Quran: ]  “But those who disobey Allah and His Messenger and transgress His limits will be admitted to a Fire, to abide therein: And they shall have a humiliating punishment”[Quran: ]  |

16 Loss For Those Who Obey Unbelievers (In Faith)
“And if you obey most of those in the earth, they will lead you astray from Allah's way; they follow but conjecture and they do nothing but lie” [Quran: ]  “O ye who believe! If ye obey the Unbelievers, they will drive you back on your heels, and ye will turn back (from Faith) to your own loss” [Quran: ].    |

17 Mercy For Those Who Obey Allah And His Messenger
“And obey Allah and the messenger, that ye may find mercy” [Quran: ]    “And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger, these are with those upon whom Allah has bestowed favors from among the prophets and the truthful and the martyrs and the good, and a goodly company are they!”[Quran: ]  |

18 Love Allah? Then Follow Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
“Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful” [Quran: ] |

19 Allah Says about the disbeliever
“And be not like those who said, We hear, and they did not obey”[Quran:  ]   They say, "We believe in Allah and in the messenger, and we obey": but even after that, some of them turn away: they are not (really) Believers” [Quran: ].  It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision: if any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path” [Quran: ]. |

20 Who take a course midway- Are Unbelievers
Those who deny Allah and His messengers, and (those who) wish to separate Allah from His messengers, saying: "We believe in some but reject others": And (those who) wish to take a course midway, They are in truth (equally) unbelievers; and we have prepared for unbelievers a humiliating punishment” [Quran: ]  |

21 Prophet (pbuh) on Strong Believer, Weak Believer And A Hypocrite
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: A strong believer is better and is more lovable to Allah than a weak believer, and there is good in everyone, (but) cherish that which gives you benefit (in the Hereafter) and seek help from Allah and do not lose heart, and if anything (in the form of trouble) comes to you, don't say: If I had not done that, it would not have happened so and so, but say: Allah did that what He had ordained to do and your" if" opens the (gate) for the Satan. [Sahih Muslim - Book 033, Number 6441] Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “Three things are the sign of the hypocrite: when he speaks he tells lies, when he promises he breaks it and when he is given trust he proves to be dishonest.” - [Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 2, Number 33] |

22 Allah Says About The True Believers
“The Believers, men and women, are protectors one of another: they enjoin what is right (just) and forbid what is evil (wrong): they observe regular prayers, practice regular charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger. On them will Allah pour His mercy: for Allah is Exalted in power, wise”. [Quran: ]  |

23 Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on -True Believer
'A'isha reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: There is nothing (in the form of trouble) that comes to a believer even if it is the pricking of a thorn that there is decreed for him by Allah good or his sins are obliterated. Sahih Muslim -Book 032, Number 6241 Ka'b reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said that the similitude of a believer is that of a standing crop in a field which is shaken by wind and then it comes to its original position but it stands at its roots. The similitude of a non-believer is that of a cypress tree which stands on its roots and nothing shakes it but it is uprooted (with) one (violent stroke) - Sahih Muslim -Book 039, Number 6744 |

24 A Message For Our Hearts & Intelligence-1
As Allah says in the Quran: “Verily in this is a Message for any that has a heart and understanding or who gives ear with full intelligence”[Quran: ]  Therefore let us use our heart & intelligence, breakdown one of the verse from holy Quran[Sura:9:71] where Allah says about the qualities of a true believer; “The Believers, men and women, are: 1. protectors one of another (This protection also includes helping & guiding other believers in straight path so as to save them from hell fire) 2. they enjoin what is right (just) and forbid what is evil (wrong): 3. they observe regular prayers, 4. practise regular charity, and 5. obey Allah and His Messenger. On them will Allah pour His mercy: for Allah is Exalted in power, Wise”. Do I have the above qualities as a true believer? We need to evaluate ourselves Let us move on to next slide for more explanation |

25 A Message For Our Hearts & Intelligence-1 ( Kind request to brothers & sisters who are practicing the below professions: Please do not be offended by the below explanation, its just an example used to make people understand). Let us consider A doctor & A construction engineer, Both had finished their education long time ago but both have not practiced their professions as required everyday as part of their job or has been practicing only once in a while & besides that they both have strayed in the path of illegal ways, not enjoining what is right and forbidding what is evil (wrong) in their profession & in their lifestyle: Now you require a medical consultation for yourself or for your loved ones(your child/your parent) Similarly you require to build your house or a bridge for the society Would you approach the above Doctor or the engineer for guidance/consultation? A person of intelligence will know that the above two people do not have the qualities of a true doctor or true engineer & besides that consultation with them will lead to a great danger medically to ones life or of their loved ones & likewise danger of lives in the collapse of construction projects undertaken by the engineer on house or the bridges for the society, Now let us go back to the verse of Allah on the qualities of a true beleiver. If we don’t have the qualities of true believer as stated by Allah, can we be a true believer? No. We cannot be. Not being a true believer will we be able to guide our family or our friends to the straight path? No we cannot & instead we might lead them to disaster (hell fire). Therefore let us evaluate ourselves & strive to be true believers as required by Allah. |

26 Has Not The Time Yet Come For The Believers?
Allah Says: “Has not the time yet come for the Believers that their hearts in all humility should engage in the remembrance of Allah and of the Truth which has been revealed (to them), and that they should not become like those to whom was given Revelation aforetime, but long ages passed over them and their hearts grew hard? For many among them are rebellious transgressors (evil-livers)[Quran: ]. |

27 Did You Think That You Would Enter Heaven?
“Did you think that you would enter Heaven without Allah testing those of you who fought hard (In His Cause) and remained steadfast?” [Quran: ] “Allah will not leave the believers in the state in which ye are now until He separates the wicked from the good” [Quran: ] “Or do ye think that ye shall enter the Garden (of bliss) without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? they encountered suffering and adversity, and were so shaken in spirit that even the Messenger and those of faith who were with him cried: "When (will come) the help of Allah?" Ah! Verily, the help of Allah is (always) near!” [Quran: ] |

28 The Choice We each of us have the choice in following the right path or the wrong path. “Say: (It is) the truth from the Lord of you (all). Then whosoever will, let him believe, and whosoever will, let him disbelieve. Lo! We have prepared for disbelievers Fire”[Quran: ] “Some He hath guided: Others have (by their choice) deserved the loss of their way; in that they took the evil ones, in preference to Allah, for their friends and protectors, and think that they receive guidance”[Quran: ]      |

29 Not Equal Are Good And Evil
Not Equal are those who obey & Those who disobey “Is he then who is a believer like him who is a transgressor? They are not equal”. [Quran: ]  What! Do those who seek after evil ways think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe and do righteous deeds, that equal will be their life and their death? Ill is the judgment that they make. [Quran:     Say: "Not equal are things that are bad and things that are good, even though the abundance of the bad may dazzle thee; so fear Allah, O ye that understand; that (so) ye may prosper.“[Quran: ]   |

30 ALLAH Gives DUE Reward To The Evil And The Good
And Allah's is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, that He may reward those who do evil according to what they do, and (that) He may reward those who do good with goodness. [Quran: ]    |

31 ALLAH Promises Reward For Those Who Believe And Do Righteous Deeds
“Verily (as for) those who believe and do good, We do not waste the reward of any who do a (single) righteous deed” [Quran: ]  “Surely the men who submit and the women who submit, and the believing men and the believing women, and the obeying men and the obeying women, and the truthful men and the truthful women, and the patient men and the patient women and the humble men and the humble women, and the almsgiving men and the almsgiving women, and the fasting men and the fasting women, and the men who guard their chastity (private parts) and the women who guard, and the men who remember Allah much and the women who remember-- Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a mighty reward”[Quran: ]    |

32 Mercy And Punishment of ALLAH
He (Allah) said: "With My punishment I afflict whomever I will; but My mercy extendeth to all things. That (mercy) I shall ordain for those who do right, and practise regular charity, and those who believe in Our signs [Quran: ] |

33 What Are We Preparing For?
Brothers & Sisters in Islam, Come! Let us enjoin what is right (just) and forbid what is evil (wrong): Let us observe regular prayers (Salah), practice regular charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger in all walks of our life, Let us Prepare for Paradise. “Not equal are the Companions of the Fire and the Companions of the Garden: it is the Companions of the Garden, that will achieve Felicity (Complete Happiness)” [Quran: ]  Beware; “If We are not striving to enter paradise, then we are ultimately preparing to enter Hell-Fire” Let us neither be of “Those of who do more wrong/transgress ” nor of “ unbelievers” but May Allah makes us of True Believers. |

34 Come To Great Success Those who obey Allah and His Messenger will be admitted to Gardens with rivers flowing beneath, to abide therein (for ever) and That will be the great success [Quran: ] Obey Allah and His Messenger Come closer to Allah!
