2. Strengths? Includes major layers-crust, mantle and core.
Includes movement of plates-plate tectonics.
Simple and easy to understand and relate to. (We all know what an egg looks like!)

3. Weaknesses? Doesn’t explain differences between inner and outer core.
Doesn’t identify the thickness, density, and temperature of each of the layers.
Doesn’t mention plate boundaries or what happens at boundaries.
Doesn’t help us understand Earthquakes and volcanoes in any real depth.
